Bean
Rock, balance, seesaw, climb, build, stack, crawl and jump all while developing refined large motor skills, fluidity of motion, posture, muscle strength, coordination, balance and increasing neurodevelopment! Bean is a flexible indoor/outdoor play furniture for children ages 4-7 in urban schools who need to maximize every bit of play equipment. The Beans can be snapped together to make tunnels and forts that encourage imagination and group play. This toy promotes gross motor skills and social development through the use of assembly and movement. Rotationally molded from high-density polyethylene, it is shock-resistant, weatherproof and recyclable.
A foam and masonite prototype was made and tested with two kids ages 4 and 7.
Blue foam model with Masonite ribs was made for testing.
